In November 2024, I had a left amygdalohippocampectomy via a multi-trajectory LiTT (laser ablation). Here, I share the stories behind that decision and recovery.

I was born and raised on the island of Guernsey. Most of my family still lives there, and it remains the place I measure all other places against.

Today, I live in the Bay Area, where I work as a Frameworks Engineer at Apple, building the low-level technologies that quietly power the devices people use every day.

I’m married to Amanda, my wife of seventeen years, and together we’re raising three kids (yes, one of them a teenager… wish us luck).
