Welcome

Originally, I built a simple version of this website, just data, facts, and surgical outcomes from my experience with epilepsy. My goal was to educate, give professionals context, and ease the fears of other patients. It was, frankly, a tragically boring read.

As I began sharing our stories, people around me were bewildered, sometimes skeptical. With time to reflect, I realized I was just as bewildered as they were. When you’re in the middle of something like this, it’s only a moment passing by. But once you have space to breathe, the story-like nature of it all starts to take shape.

Everything here is real — the experiences, the surgeries, and most importantly, the human connections. My hope is that whether you’re in medicine, a friend, or someone living through epilepsy yourself, you find some comfort in these stories.
